Continuous availability
In order to guarantee continuous availability of its data, NetApp has been implemented as the primary storage solution, for the back-up storage a Nearstore solution has been chosen. Furthermore all of Fokker Aerostructure's data is ‘mirrored' to Proact’s datacenter, which is thus a third copy.
Site-failover activities
Proact has developed different scenarios in order to facilitate the data center failover within the agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement) and failback to the original data center using replacement equipment which has the last dataset from the customer installed on it.
InControl Software
Through the by Proact in-house developed InControl Software the latest data is guaranteed, in line with the SLA, to always be in the best hands at Proact.
Proact System Administration team
The daily operational management of the filer is the responsibility of the Proact system administration team. They ensure the systems are watched carefully and required modifications and changes are proactively carried out.
