Proact enters into agreement with international IT company
09 oktober 2009 11:20 - Archive and storage specialists Proact have entered into a three-year framework agreement with a Swedish supplier of IT services with major international coverage. This agreement means that Proact will be supplying network optimisation services and solutions which will permit server consolidation for the company’s businesses in Europe, Asia and the USA.
The company was looking for a supplier that would be able to improve its network performance, while at the same time finding ways of utilising its server capacity more efficiently.
The Proact solution is based on an infrastructure from Riverbed and includes both WAN and application optimisation as well as server consolidation. This solution will allow the client to save money thanks to fewer support issues and simpler administration. The client will also benefit from a flexible IT infrastructure with considerably improved response times.
Besides infrastructure, this three-year framework agreement also covers service and support. This agreement is applicable to the company’s global operations, involving some 300 sites in Europe, Asia and the USA.
This solution being financed by Proact Finans, which customises flexible finance solutions for Proact clients.
